Paul, a seasoned Project Manager at Capital Consultants, is responsible for providing various project management services such as on-site Owner Representation, Investor/Lender progress inspection, and Plan and Cost Reviews. With more than three decades of experience in architecture and project management, Paul joined Capital Consultants in 2012. He possesses extensive knowledge of all project development phases, ranging from programming and conceptual design to the substantial completion of construction. His expertise extends to various types of projects, including affordable housing, adaptive reuse lofts and apartments, new and renovated condominiums, senior independent living facilities, apartment and suite-style student housing, master planning, and housing authority modernizations. Paul holds both a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a Licensed Architect in multiple states, including Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, and South Carolina. Additionally, Paul is a certified Construction Document Technologist.
Paul’s attention to detail and strong project management skills enable him to effectively oversee all aspects of a construction project, from initial assessments to final reviews. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality consulting services that meet the unique needs and requirements of each client.
Paul has been a fan of Formula 1 motor racing since 1970 and frequently travels to Indianapolis, the Austin Circuit of the Americas, and Mid-Ohio to attend races in the IndyCar, IMSA, or World Endurance Championship series. One of his most memorable racing experiences was joining the Team Toyota and Rebellion Racing for a track walk during the WEC event in Austin in 2020. In addition to his passion for racing, Paul developed a love for bowling while working as a mechanic at a bowling center during his high school years in the 1970s. He also enjoys going on hikes with his daughters in various National Parks across Maine, Utah, and Montana.

Jennifer is a valuable member of our Project Management team, specializing in Investor/Lender Progress Inspection and Plan Review Services for construction projects. She joined Capital Consultants in 2005 and has since delivered numerous Physical Needs Assessments and played a crucial role in supporting Owner Representation projects. She previously handled in-house bookkeeping, report development and preparation, as well as software/technology support.
Jennifer obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting from Belleville Area College (now SWIC) in 1985. With a career spanning over three decades in the construction industry, Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to our team. Before joining Capital Consultants, she held positions at two prominent General Contractors in St. Louis. Her responsibilities included project administration, project documentation, construction accounting, and purchasing.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys attending St. Louis Cardinals games, and misses her favorite player (and now country music singer), Adam Wainwright. She is also passionate about supporting local animal rescues and has a love for travel, both within the country using her RV, and exploring historical destinations abroad. During her childhood, she passed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio on Chicago Avenue, as well as several other FLW homes in her daily route to grade school.

Mike and Mary Harris established Capital Consultants in 1997, leveraging the trust and relationships they had built with their clients through many years of experience with sister company E.M. Harris Construction. Over the years, Capital Consultants has emerged as a leader in the industry, maintaining strong connections with some of the country's primary lending and investment institutions.
Before founding Capital Consultants, Mary began her professional journey at AT&T (previously known as Southwestern Bell). She quickly advanced through the ranks and eventually took on the responsibility of managing $850 million in revenue generated from intrastate calls. During this time, Mary pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University, attending classes in the evenings and on weekends. Mary's expertise and entrepreneurial drive enabled her to launch and expand various businesses in the marketing and construction sectors. Notable ventures include the creation of the first printed apartment guide in the St. Louis region and the founding of a company that specialized in supplying union laborers and cabinets to general contractors.
In addition to her role as a business owner, Mary has also devoted herself to raising her three children (and four grandchildren) alongside Mike. This commitment to family has included numerous road trips to Florida, creating lasting memories for their loved ones.
With Mike’s unexpected passing in 2021, Mary stepped into the position of Chief Executive Officer. She has taken on the responsibility of ensuring the company's future by offering the same level of guidance and supervision that she and Mike had provided for many years. Meanwhile President Sean King oversees the day-to-day operations, supported by a skilled and committed team at Capital Consultants. Mary remains actively engaged in her role as CEO, working alongside Sean to navigate the company towards success.

Sean holds the position of President at Capital Consultants, where he provides executive oversight for all consulting, inspection, and construction management services. He is also actively involved in Investor and Lender Progress Inspections and Plan and Cost Review Services and reviewing construction drawings and submittals. With his exceptional leadership abilities, Sean ensures the successful completion of projects at Capital Consultants. He brings with him a vast amount of knowledge, expertise, and experience in the field of architecture, which allows him to offer valuable insights and guidance to our clients. Sean graduated from Drury University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and is also a Registered Architect in the State of Missouri.
Before joining Capital Consultants in 2007, Sean worked as an Architect and Project Manager for a prominent architecture firm based in St. Louis. During his time there, he managed a wide range of projects, including Senior and Market Rate Multi-Family Housing as well as Mixed-Use Historic Renovations. Sean's previous experience and his adeptness at conceptualizing sites and providing construction alternatives are invaluable assets to Capital Consultants. With his meticulous focus on details and exceptional abilities in project management, he possesses the capability to efficiently lead the organization and supervise all aspects of construction consulting services.
In his leisure time, Sean enjoys transforming fallen branches that he salvages from his historic neighborhood into beautiful bowls or vessels through the art of wood turning.

Andrew is a valuable asset to Capital Consultants as a Project Manager. His role involves conducting monthly Investor and Lender Progress Inspections, as well as providing Plan and Cost Review services for construction projects. Prior to joining Capital Consultants in 2013, Andrew worked as a Project Architect at Rosemann & Associates. With more than 20 years of architectural design and construction experience, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to his current position. His expertise includes overseeing the design and construction administration of various commercial projects, such as multi-story apartment buildings, senior housing communities, hotels, storage facilities, and historic rehabilitation projects. Andrew’s attention to detail and strong project management skills enable him to effectively oversee all aspects of construction projects, from initial assessments to final reviews. Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas and has been a Registered Architect in the State of Missouri since 2008. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality consulting services that meet the unique needs and requirements of each client.
Outside of work, Andrew has a passion for LEGO and proudly displays over 80 sets in his home. He also enjoys playing tennis and actively participates in a USTA men's league nearly every Sunday. Furthermore, he has a love for travel and has explored numerous European countries, almost rivaling the number of states he has visited in America.

Denise, our Administrative Assistant, plays a key role in supporting our Project Managers and executives. She became a part of the Capital Consultants team in 2012, bringing with her a background in software quality assurance and exceptional organizational skills. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla. Previously, she was involved in project reporting and processes, quality assurance, as well as providing word processing support. However, she has since transitioned to an Accounts Receivable position where she continues to streamline processes while also offering in-house software and technology support.
During her free time, Denise indulges in the worlds of science fiction and fantasy through books and TV series. Additionally, she is a follower of K-Pop (Korean pop music), appreciating the diverse sounds and inspiring messages conveyed by its artists.

David is a Project Manager for Capital Consultants and specializes in providing inspection and on-site review services for construction projects, specifically catering to Investors and Lenders. With over 30 years of experience in architecture and construction, David brings a wealth of knowledge to CCI. Before joining the team, he worked as a Program Manager and Senior Project Architect at several Saint Louis based Architecture firms.
David's expertise lies in project inspection, reporting, and reviewing drawings and submittals. He has worked on various projects including multi-family housing, senior living facilities, corporate offices, manufacturing plants, historic restorations, retail spaces, and restaurants. As a Registered Architect and an alumnus of Saint Louis Community College - Meramec, David is well-equipped to handle design and construction administration.
Outside of work, David is an avid supporter, and season ticket holder, of Saint Louis City Soccer Club. He also enjoys spending time with his grandchild, working on DIY projects at home, traveling, and refereeing high school soccer games across the Saint Louis area.

Andrew is a valuable asset to Capital Consultants, serving as both Vice President and Project Manager. His responsibilities include providing monthly Investor/Lender Progress Inspections, Owners Representation, Plan Review services, and assisting with executive and administrative duties. Andrew joined Capital Consultants in 2017 after working as a Project Architect at KAI Design & Build. With two decades of experience under his belt, he has successfully managed the design and construction of various residential projects ranging from single-family homes to multi-story apartment buildings, as well as commercial developments and historic renovations. He demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to clients.
Andrew's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Drury University and a Master of Construction Management degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds certifications from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a Licensed Architect in Missouri. His expertise in project management, architecture, and construction administration allows him to effectively oversee and review construction projects. Andrew's attention to detail, thoroughness, and understanding of industry standards make him a trusted professional in the field.
Outside of work, family takes center stage in his life. This includes serving as Assistant Coach and Team Manager for his three sons’ (including identical twins) soccer and baseball teams. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Becca, to visit icons of modern art, architecture, and design. He enjoys building everything from LEGO with the kids to furniture and renovating his century home in his free time.

Jon is based in the Charlotte office of Capital Consultants, covering much of the eastern coast. As a Project Manager for Capital Consultants, Jon utilizes his extensive industry knowledge and expertise to assist Investors and interested parties by providing monthly reports on Investor/Lender Progress Inspections and offering Plan Review Services for both new and historic construction projects. Jon obtained his bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas and is a certified LEED® Accredited Professional.
Prior to joining Capital Consultants in 2012, Jon spent eight years as a Project Manager for AAIC, Inc., where he worked on various municipal and educational buildings in Missouri and Illinois, focusing on new construction as well as historic preservation. With over 19 years of experience in architectural design and construction administration, Jon specializes in historic and sustainable design. During his tenure at Capital Consultants, he has been heavily involved in the Historic Tax Credit Program and the subsequent restoration of historic structures. Jon previously served on the LEED Technical committee and volunteered at SAVE.
He is actively engaged in numerous animal search and rescue organizations. Jon and his wife have a deep affection for all animals, particularly their beloved dogs (Layla and Lady Bird) and three cats ( Kitty Perry, Polly Pocket and Dobby). He also finds pleasure in unwinding on the shores of the Dominican Republic, immersing himself in the pages of his preferred works of fiction. He has attended numerous hockey matches, ardently supporting his cherished Saint Louis Blues, as well as Formula 1 races, enthusiastically cheering for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team.

As the Energy Division Director at Capital Consultants, Mollie is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business. This includes managing the development of new projects, ensuring the certification process for green programs is carried out efficiently, and creating energy models. With over a decade of experience in sustainable building practices, Mollie has worked on a wide range of construction projects, including new builds, renovations, green retrofits, and historic preservation. Her expertise extends to different types of buildings such as single and multi-family housing, mixed-use developments, and commercial properties.
Mollie's diverse experience has allowed her to develop a comprehensive approach to sustainable design and construction that is cost-effective. Mollie holds an MBA from Webster University and possesses several certifications, including being a licensed HERS Rater, BPI-Certified Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Multi-Family Building Analyst, Certified Energy Auditor, National Green Building Standard Verifier, and a Level 1 Building Thermographer.
Outside of work, Mollie enjoys spending time with her three children and has a passion for traveling. She has visited over 30 countries, and even had to add extra pages to her passport book. Additionally, Mollie is an avid Peloton rider and a devoted fan of her hometown St. Louis Cardinals.

Jeff, a Project Manager for Capital Consultants, fulfills several responsibilities within the company. He conducts thorough site inspections and prepares detailed progress reports for Investors and Lenders. Additionally, Jeff provides Plan and Cost Review services for a diverse range of construction projects.
Before joining Capital Consultants Inc. in 2014, Jeff worked as a Construction Administrator at Christner Inc. With over 30 years of architectural experience, Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Capital Consultants. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various architectural design and construction administration projects. These include multi-family residential projects such as apartment buildings and historic rehabilitation projects, as well as K-12 education, institutional, commercial, and healthcare projects. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is also a Licensed Registered Architect in the State of Missouri.
Outside of work, Jeff has a passion for literature and is an avid reader of British novelist Kenneth Follett. His interest in Follett's works began with "Pillars of the Earth," and he has been a dedicated fan ever since.

Mike is an experienced Project Manager who specializes in providing services such as Investor/Lender Progress Inspection and Plan Review on various construction projects. He joined Capital Consultants in 2022 after working as a Project Manager at Weber Architects and serving as the Housing Studio Leader for Trivers Architects. His extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable asset to CCI.
With over 37 years of experience in Design, Illustration, and Construction Administration, Mike has worked on a wide range of projects including multi-family housing, senior independent living facilities, churches, and adaptive reuse projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Kansas and is a Licensed Registered Architect in the State of Missouri. His dedication to delivering high-quality services and his passion for architecture and construction set him apart in the industry.
While Mike is not a fan of freezing weather or extreme heights, he did accompany his two brothers on a trek to Nepal's Mount Everest base camp. In his free time, he also enjoys playing competitive racquetball.

Gerrie, an Administrative Assistant, collaborates closely with our Project Managers and executives to collect project documents and prepare reports. She provides administrative support, ensures quality assurance, and assists with word processing tasks. Gerrie joined the Capital Consultants team in 2016, bringing with her over 22 years of experience in Construction Loan Administration and Asset Management. Throughout her career, she has managed construction portfolios ranging from $5mm to $100mm. Her responsibilities included monitoring project budgets, schedules, conducting risk assessments, and authorizing funding requests. Gerrie also played a crucial role in supporting Asset Management and Senior Management by overseeing all aspects of construction to ensure timely completion, compliance, and tax credit delivery. When she's not working, Gerrie enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and zip-lining (she particularly enjoys zip-lining in North Carolina over the mountains). She also loves going jeeping with her friends and exploring new venues and foods. Spending time with her 1-year-old grandson is a special joy for Gerrie, especially when he gets to stay with his "GiGi”.

Joe serves as a Project Manager at Capital Consultants, offering a range of project management services including on-site Owners Representation, Investor/Lender inspections, and Plan and Cost Review services. With a diverse background in architecture, project management, design, marketing, and owner services, Joe brings an impressive 35 years of experience to the table. His expertise lies in team management for various types of projects such as historic renovations, new construction, multi-family housing, and adaptive reuse projects. In addition, he has extensive experience in higher education, sports and recreation facility design, as well as industrial engineering/manufacturing facility design.
Whether it is conducting progress inspections, reviewing plans, or assessing third-party reports, Joe’s knowledge and experience ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards. Joe holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and is a Licensed Architect in the State of Missouri.
When he's not busy managing projects, Joe loves to travel and spend time on the beach. He enjoys exploring different cuisines and cherishes moments with his family. Joe is also (relatively) fluent in Italian and takes pleasure in perfecting recipes of his mother’s Italian dishes. As a true sports enthusiast, he also takes delight in watching his favorite hometown St. Louis sports teams. With his wealth of experience and passion for what he does, Joe is a valuable asset to the team at Capital Consultants.

Patrick is a Project Manager for Capital Consultants, where he specializes in providing monthly Investor/Lender Progress Inspections, Owners Representation, and Plan and Cost Reviews for a multitude of construction project types. He joined the company in 2018 after working as the Housing Studio Leader at KAI Design & Build. With over 20 years of experience in Design and Construction Administration, Patrick has successfully completed various projects including multi-family housing, senior independent living, and historic renovation and adaptive reuse projects. He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Drury University and is a Registered Architect in the State of Missouri. Additionally, Patrick is a LEED Accredited Professional, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable building practices.
With his extensive background in residential and commercial projects, Patrick is well-equipped to provide comprehensive inspection services and assessments. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys playing hockey, a sport he has been involved in since the age of 14. He actively participates in recreational leagues for both ice and roller hockey around the Saint Louis area. At home, Patrick nurtures his green thumb by focusing on his greenhouse and 5-acre prairie restoration project at his home in rural Illinois.

Erin Wright holds the position of Director of Business Development and Project Manager at Capital Consultants and Capital Consultants Energy. In this capacity she plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Her extensive experience in the field of architecture, combined with her commitment to sustainable design practices, allows her to provide valuable insights and guidance to clients. Erin joined CCI in 2010 and has also held the position of Project Manager and Vice President of Design at two St. Louis area Architecture firms.
Erin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, as she is a Registered Architect and holds the LEED® Accredited Professional certification. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Erin is actively involved in several professional organizations, including Commercial Real Estate Women St. Louis (CREW), U.S. Green Building Council Missouri Gateway Chapter (USGBC), and Women in Architecture St. Louis. As a member of various professional organizations, Erin remains connected to industry trends and best practices. This allows her to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to emerging technologies, sustainable design strategies, and regulatory changes. Erin's continuous professional development ensures that Capital Consultants and Capital Consultants Energy remain at the forefront of the industry, offering innovative solutions and delivering exceptional results.
Erin finds pleasure in experimenting with new recipes during her leisure time, recently delving into the realms of Japanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. In addition to her culinary pursuits, she has undertaken various sewing projects, one of which is an elaborate quilt depicting a map of the vibrant city of New Orleans. Erin is particularly drawn to this city for its unique blend of architectural marvels and delectable cuisine. The anticipation of embarking on her next sewing project always fills her with excitement and enthusiasm.
