Mollie Olson, CEA, BPI MFBA, HERS
As the Energy Division Director at Capital Consultants, Mollie is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business. This includes managing the development of new projects, ensuring the certification process for green programs is carried out efficiently, and creating energy models. With over a decade of experience in sustainable building practices, Mollie has worked on a wide range of construction projects, including new builds, renovations, green retrofits, and historic preservation. Her expertise extends to different types of buildings such as single and multi-family housing, mixed-use developments, and commercial properties.
Mollie's diverse experience has allowed her to develop a comprehensive approach to sustainable design and construction that is cost-effective. Mollie holds an MBA from Webster University and possesses several certifications, including being a licensed HERS Rater, BPI-Certified Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Multi-Family Building Analyst, Certified Energy Auditor, National Green Building Standard Verifier, and a Level 1 Building Thermographer.
Outside of work, Mollie enjoys spending time with her three children and has a passion for traveling. She has visited over 30 countries, and even had to add extra pages to her passport book. Additionally, Mollie is an avid Peloton rider and a devoted fan of her hometown St. Louis Cardinals.
